I noticed that my students perform better in MUET speaking practice in class after watching the recording of Mock MUET Speaking Test by Pearson. It shows not only the recording of the MUET speaking test but also explicit comments and marks given by the examiners.

You are right they learn by watching...
ReplyDeletehemm..another method is by asking your students to record (via hand-phone) themselves during Task A (Individual speaking task)...they love it ...because they can play, replay and pause the video of themselves SPEAKING and others looking/listening to them..
They will accept the truth of their weaknesses and start to believe the comments given by their teachers..
Having a video as reflection it is so much better than a mirror...
I did it with my class...today students are the hand phones generation..they learn better using gadgets..a familiar tool that able to give them input whenever and wherever they are...
